Variety · Coffea arabica

Gesha

Ethiopian-origin variety prized for floral, tea-like cups.

Collected in southwest Ethiopia in the 1930s and later planted in Central America, Gesha became famous through Panamanian competition lots in the 2000s.

Well-grown Gesha is known for jasmine and bergamot aromatics and a delicate, tea-like body. It is low yielding, and prices reflect it.
