CATASTRO

Coffee, roaster, producer, farm, and lot information can draw on the CATASTRO specialty coffee registry. Its registry data is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. Derived databases remain subject to that license, including attribution, share-alike, and applicable access requirements.

OpenStreetMap and maps

Some place coordinates and addresses come from OpenStreetMap through Nominatim. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under ODbL 1.0. The interactive map uses OpenFreeMap, OpenMapTiles, and OpenStreetMap; the map’s attribution control carries its provider credits.

Businesses and other published sources

We also use roasters’ product pages, coffee shop websites, sellers’ listings, manufacturer pages, and other published references. Attribution identifies the evidence for catalog facts. A publicly readable source does not automatically grant a license to its images, prose, or branding; those rights remain with their respective owners unless otherwise stated.

Reuse and archive requests

We treat public catalog facts as a shared resource in the spirit of open data. Follow the license identified for the relevant source or dataset. ODbL does not itself license every photo or written description contained in a database, and private account information is excluded.

We currently have no self-service bulk download or supported public API. To request a machine-readable public data archive, including a copy of a covered derivative database or the alternative required by its license, email data@tastingcup.com.
