Variety · Coffea arabica
Bourbon
One of the two historic lineages of Arabica.
Named after the island of Bourbon (now Réunion), where it was cultivated from the early 1700s. Many modern varieties, including Caturra, descend from it.
Red Bourbon is the most common form; yellow and pink-fruited forms also exist.
